Persuasive Writing By Ibrahim N 6MC

Tuesday 25 February 2014
Lo: to write a persuasive letter

Dear Sir,
I am writing to you to disagree to your decision about building a motorway in the middle of Curdworth. I have a number of reasons to disagree;
The main reason is that people are at risk of pollution from cars at the same time, there will be less oxygen as trees will be chopped down. I hope you heard about the 7 year old boy who died because of this.
Another reason is I am against building a motorway is because it will destroy local wildlife, local habitats will also get destroyed once everything has changed Curdworth will never be the same again.
Furthermore, at the moment Curdworth is peaceful, calm and tranquil place, but after the motorway is built it will become a complete disaster. The more cars there will be the more house prices will drop. Curdworth will be completely different than it is today. Surly you would not want this happen to you.
On the other hand some people may believe this may be a good idea. These people I think are complete fools. Who would want to do that? Surely, if a motorway is built, you cannot deny that local people and wildlife will suffer terrible pollution.
 If I was someone to discuss that whether we had to do something like this I would disagree. Would you want this to happen to you? Then please help stop this. Will you help stop this?
 You’re sincerely,
Muhammad Nawaz
